Has your child got what it takes to be in our choir? Come and find out at our choir open evening.
Liverpool Cathedral is searching for new choristers to join the choir.
Stephen Mannings, Liverpool Cathedral’s Director of Choral Outreach & Voluntary Choirs encourages parents with boys from school years Y2 to Y5 and girls from Y5 upwards to get in touch soon to book a place for their child.
If your child has an excellent singing voice as well as an all-around good level of musical ability then this could be the perfect opportunity to receive a musical and faith-based education that is second to none.
Those children who are selected can expect:
financial contributions towards the cost of studying a musical instrument,
the chance to sing for television and radio broadcasts
the opportunity to travel abroad on choir tours.
On the evening you’ll listen to both the Boys’ and Girls’ Choirs sing choral evensong. Lee Ward, Liverpool Cathedral’s Director of Music will give a presentation. Children will then audition to become choristers starting this September.
To book your child's place, please contact Stephen Mannings, Director of Choral Outreach & Voluntary Choirs
