Also Known as the «Scratchmaster»
Born in 1968, DJing professionally from 21 he had a residency at a nightclub called Venus in Nottingham in 1990 whilst still at university. Having gained a name as a DJ with a style of mixing that was unique to the newly-born rave scene, other promoters such as Dreamscape, Helter Skelter, Obsession, Fantasia and Perception included Sy on their line-ups. As the music evolved, Sy naturally progressed from hardcore to happy hardcore. Club work all over the country and abroad helped to establish his reputation as the Scratchmaster.
Sy also co-owns an impressive studio in Aldershot, Hampshire, and it is from here that Quosh Records, one of the hardcore scene's most prolific labels, originated in 1994. His recording career has produced an extensive back catalogue of tunes — particularly as half of duo Sy & Unknown — and he remains one of the biggest names
in the UK hardcore scene today with regular releases and DJ gigs across the country.
SPECIAL GUEST MINI-MIX — Phillip Brough
We have asked him if he would like to play a small set to show our appreciation towards his family, Cautiously he replied with a yes not knowing how this would pan out. Just to add hes never played out live and is still learning the ropes on the decks. But we will all be around to help if needed.
Phillip Brough is a close friend and Hardcore raver so when HID Crew got asked to help with his birthday party after winning a Auction to get Vibes & Livelee to come to his house we grouped together to make this one to remember, after whipping round to gather other DJ's & MC's to come along we ended up having a 8hr Rave in his Back Garden with MC Whizzkid to surprise him by knocking on the door on the night. The night went off perfectly and everyone had a mega Time.

----Erbman B2B Krunk----
Liverpool's drum'n'bass scene is possibly one of the city's best-kept secrets, At the sharp end of matters is Southport's DJ Erbman, a self-confessed production geek who came to the drum'*'bass scene from a slightly unexpected angle. Erbman, who is involved with his own night, Audiosalad, recently beat 100 others to win club Bar Non's DJ competition, known for his production work «I try to produce music that I want to hear in the clubs,' he admits. 'A lot of them are influenced by reggae/dub, jungle or soul, and sometimes a mix of all three. I always make sure the tunes I make sound weighty on the sound system, as a good bassline will always get the ravers moving.'
