Jimmy and Sarah-Lou (also of Jimmy Rae & the Moonshine Girls) are a highly experienced and professional acoustic vocal harmony duo with a passion for all things country and Americana.
Having performed together in other bands since 2015, they formed Tennessee Waltz after being approached by some music-loving friends to play at their wedding in 2016.
Their repertoire draws on some of the greatest country flavoured songs from the last 50 years, from Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline and the Everly Brothers to The Eagles, Neil Young and Emmylou Harris through to the recent hits of Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert and the Shires.
TW's performance is completely live — strictly no backing tracks — with their complementary vocal harmonies very much at the heart of their sound
Off the back of their guest spot at The Blue Bell in Halkyn late in 2017, join Tennessee Waltz for a night of Country, Americana and Bluegrass they are bringing the fantastic Helsby Mountain String Band to West Kirby Arts Centre. Expect sets from both HMSB and TW, across the evening, and even some collaborations!

Their musical influences include Doc Watson, Buddy Holly, Bill Monroe, Johnny Cash, The Rolling Stones, the Beatles, Creedence Clearwater Revival and Oasis to name but a few.
