We are excited to welcome Kay Ribbons-Steen to the Farm Shop on Saturday 2nd December for den building, fire-lighting, leaf crowns and art and more. Open to 5-14 year olds. Maximum of 12 per session, £15 per person. Email [email protected]
or call 01244 533442 to book. Payment is taken on booking. Parents do not need to stay as the sessions are child led. Kay and her assistant both have a number or years of experience leading children in outdoor activities and are both emergency first aid trained. Children should wear warm layers, waterproofs and sensible footwear. They should also bring a bottle of water with them. A Farm Shop packed lunch will be provided, so please specify on booking if your child would like; cheese, ham or chicken. Please meet outside the farm shop for 10am on the morning of the session.
Kay Ribbons-Steen has a background in forest school, social forestry, mindfulness and is a trained countryside ranger. She is passionate about reconnecting with the natural world and will take participants on a sensory journey that will refresh and inspire. Kay has led barefoot walks with Mind charity, has worked with forest schools and delivered eco therapy sessions to a youth project.
Natural Play Sessions take place on the first Saturday of every month.
